TheCityFix Brasil, the Portuguese-language sister blog of TheCityFix, recently entered the “Sustainability” category of the Top Blog 2011 competition, to be recognized as a leading voice of sustainable transportation. The initial phase of the competition runs until October 11. The 100 most-voted blogs will move on to the second phase of the competition, when an expert jury will then select the top three blogs in each category, ranging from art and culture to travel and tourism.
With TheCityFix Brasil’s entry in the Top Blog 2011, we are calling on our friends, partners and allies to help spread the word. The annual Top Blog award recognizes Brazil’s most popular blogs by popular vote and academic critique. The websites should focus on the Brazilian public, targeted to specific audiences (Personal, Professional and Enterprise) and among different categories.
EMBARQ Brasil launched TheCityFix Brasil in May 2011, aiming to build an online community around sustainable transportation. Believing that big changes start from small gestures, the blog is open to all, and it is intended to encourage the involvement of all those who seek a means of expression, and a way to contribute and make the planet a healthier and more sustainable place.
