Malcolm is an intern on the Climate & Energy team at the Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. He works on designing a business model platform to be used in Santiago, Chile to replace their bus fleet with hybrid/electric buses.
Prior to joining WRI, Malcolm worked in Tanzania to design, build and install PV electrical systems in order to provide clean sustainable energy to Tina's Primary School in Nyamagongo. He worked with diverse teams at Solar Roots and REACH Shirati to hold workshops in maintaining and applying PV systems effectively.
Malcolm holds a M.A. in International Affairs and Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, as part of the Energy Resources and Environment program.
Malcolm is from the Bay Area in California and enjoys playing soccer, backpacking, and trail running.
