EMBARQ Director Nancy Kete will be attending as a panelist for the seminar, “The Infrastructure of Place: Sustainability and the Built Environment” this Thursday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. She will be speaking on themes related to accessibility (the ease of getting around a city) and the effects of transportation infrastructure on the social fabric of communities. She expects to highlight trends from cities as far-ranging as Arequipa, Peru and Istanbul, Turkey.
