Today is World Habitat Day 2009! Join the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and UN-HABITAT to advocate, educate and donate in support of raising awareness about shelter and urban development, including affordable housing, urban planning, governance, slum upgrading, and green infrastructure to urban agriculture, sustainable communities, and housing as a human right.
