TheCityFix, produced by EMBARQ, is a moderated hub for discovery and discussion. Comments expressed on this blog are opinions of the authors themselves, and not positions of EMBARQ. TheCityFix welcomes all participation and seeks high-quality discourse representing a wide range of opinions.

Comments

EMBARQ reserves the right to remove any content. Comments and posts will be avoided that dwell on partisan politics, self-promotion, distasteful humor or obscure “inside” jokes, and gossip or hearsay. Content that is determined to be off-topic, poorly written or detracting from the larger conversation may also be removed.

Privacy Policy
EMBARQ respects the privacy rights of our online visitors and recognizes the importance of protecting the information we collect about you.

EMBARQ only collects personal information from our online visitors on a voluntary basis and only when:

  • contributing information for publication, site user registration and future updates;
  • submitting feedback and comments;
  • completing surveys.

Submitted personal information may include your name, your organization, demographic information, email address, phone number, address, personal bio, and specific information about how you found our site and how you might use our materials. This information helps us to improve our online offerings and allows us to tailor information to your preferences. We do not require this information to obtain access to any of our sites. In some cases, we may ask if you would like to receive emails from us and give you the option of designating “yes” or “no.” Submitted personal information disclosed within user account profiles is available through TheCityFix website in our user profiles social platform.

Visitors contributing blog posts, comments, jobs or events to TheCityFix will need to login using a valid user account.

Data collection and sharing
EMBARQ does not sell our user lists. We may disclose user information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) EMBARQ’s rights or property, other EMBARQ website users or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
