Carmageddon is merely hours away. Inspired by this unprecedented traffic event, Ross Ching, a filmmaker, edited footage from one of his movies to illustrate what Los Angeles would look like without cars. The footage is from “LA with no cars,” and it is a series of time-lapse clips edited to make it seem like the roads are empty. On his website, Ching explains how he achieved the effect.
