Naim Tildiz joined EMBARQ Turkey as a Communications Assistant in August 2014. He coordinates communication activities and assists with web content management, social media, event organizations and knowledge management. He writes and edits for TheCityFix Türkiye.
Naim was honored with the opportunity to go to Finland as diplomatic representative in the Foreign Correspondents' Programme (FCP) 2013. After being a diplomatic representative in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, he started to work at Chemonics International/USAID funded projects in the Middle East. There, he assisted with communication development efforts such as project management, reports, researching, preparing security plans and environmental plans, planning and implementing of the strategic communication programs and proposal development. He is also freelance researcher in the field of Arctic environment and global climate change, as well as he is active member of ICANW to abolish nuclear weapons.
Naim earned his bachelor’s degree in media and communication from ILEF, Ankara University. In 2010, he was accepted ERASMUS+ programme in Poland, at Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Lodzi (AHE) and studied media, culture & European Studies. In March 2014, he awarded to participate in UNICRI Journalism and Public Information Programme on New Threats, at UN Campus in Italy. Besides, he participated in Universite Libre De Bruxelles’s (ULB) first joint Summer School on Contemporary Issues on Security, Peace and Conflicts: Building Peace after the Arab springs.
In his spare time he likes to do research about cyber threats. He considers that traveling is the best education.
