Matt is the Executive Assistant to the Director of Strategy and Global Policy of the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities.
Matt is the primary point of contact for Mr. Holger Dalkmann, in which capacity he helps facilitate communications with Project Area Teams, Country Office Directors, and external stakeholders and partners. He also coordinates the Lee Schipper Memorial Scholarship.
Before joining WRI, Matt was an independent new media consultant, whereby he assisted in the development and implementation of social media strategy for a major book launch. Prior to that, Matt worked at AmericaWorks for four years, where he focused on issues of economic equality, health care, and labor from a national policy perspective.
Matt studied as a Sondheim Public Affairs Scholar at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). He holds a Bachelor's of Arts in history from UMBC.
